The first wash

Our clothes are delivered to your home in safe organic packing, pre-washed(even the new ones) and you really needn’t worry about any bad chemicals or toxins or strong odours. You can use them on your baby as is.

Note: If you’ve bought your clothes from a store then make sure you wash them before putting them on your baby.

Take to spot cleaning

Clothes will pile up anyway. So, what should your laundry schedule be?

Wash when you have a decent load, some prefer daily, some less often. Choose what works for you keeping in mind that washing and taking care of baby clothes to make them last longer is good for the planet.

Use a detergent with biodegradable ingredients and no harsh chemicals. Avoid bleach and skip the fabric softeners. 

Steer clear of tumble drying baby clothes. Dryers use more electricity, produce microscopic tears and are generally not good for delicate baby clothes. Baby clothes are best hung out to air-dry.

As for temperature, do check the labels. We usually recommend washing at 30°C or 40°C.
